Last week we stayed in Paris for a few days. We always love going to Paris to have a stroll next to La Seine, do some shopping and try new restaurants. During this trip we stayed at Mandarin Oriental in Paris. We stayed in this beautiful hotel three years ago during a press trip but the program was so busy, we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the hotel. This time around, we had a relaxing trip and plenty of time to discover the hotel. Let me give you six reasons why I love staying here.
1 The location
The hotel is located right around the corner of Place Vendôme and in the middle of the well known shopping street rue Saint-Honoré. Just a short walk from Jardin les Tuileries and the famous Louvre, the location could not be any better!
2 The garden
The garden of the hotel is incredible. We often come here when we’re in Paris and want to have a drink before dinner. It’s the perfect escape from the busy city and you feel totally relaxed. The tables all have their privacy and are super cosy. A great spot for a romantic evening. This time we also had breakfast in the beautiful garden. Couldn’t think of a better way to start my day!
3 The city terrace
Our suite had a huge panoramic terrace which was our favorite spot to chill and have a glass of bubbles. Every time we opened the door to our terrace we both had a wow-feeling. We’ve spent hours here and I miss it already!
4 The design
Every part of the hotel is beautiful. When you enter in the reception you immediately get a very luxurious feeling because of the design. The interior of our suite was very cosy. Our suite was huge but it wasn’t an open space. This gave us a warm feeling of being at home, while still having all the space we need.
5 The staff
When you arrive in Mandarin Oriental you feel like a princess straight away thanks to the staff. Everybody is so kind and no effort is too much to make sure you’re having an amazing stay.
6 Diptique products
I’m a big fan of Diptique so I love that Mandarin Oriental has their products in the rooms. The bathroom was every girls dream; a lot of light, golden touches, a bathtub and big rain shower (which was also a steam cabine) with cute mosaic tiles.
There are much more reasons to visit Mandarin Oriental in Paris. There’s a beautiful spa with swimming pool, a big gym, a two Michelin star restaurant, rooms with Eiffel Tower view,… If you book a room at Mandarin Oriental, you’re guaranteed to have the most magical stay in Paris.
