A weekend in Maasmechelen village, day 1

Hi guys, I just got home from a lovely stay at Maasmechelen Village. You might remember my last visit when I went with my bestie Tara. This time I decided to bring Jeroen with me for some shopping fun and a romantic getaway. Time for some quality time ;-). We first checked in at hotel Terhills, which is next to the Village, and received a welcoming drink, the perfect way to start our weekend.

The rooms at Terhills are just stunning. They are luxurious and very romantic. I’m especially in love with the high ceiling and the marble bathroom. The best thing about the hotel is that you are next to Maasmechelen Village so in a five minute walk you are ready to shop!

During the first day of our stay we didn’t have so much time for dress shopping so we decided to look around and keep it relaxed. The real shopping went down on our second day ;-). I had a look at Sandro, which is definitely one of my favorite boutiques at Maasmechelen Village.

What I love about shopping at Maasmechelen Village, next to the high discounts in these luxurious boutiques, is that all the shops are so close to each other and there is a relaxed vibe. Instead of busy shopping streets where you have to search for a parking spot or pay a lot for an indoor parking, you have this pretty village with everything nearby and a free and large parking lot. Next to that there’s also free Wifi, perfect to take a little break during shopping and catch up with my emails.

I already did a little bit of shopping at Calvin Klein Underwear, their 4 for 25 deal was just too good! After a sweet snack at Amorino, we decided to have a cosy evening in our hotel with pizza and wine. Stay tuned for part 2!More information about shopping at Maasmechelen Village can be found here.
