Our bedroom is done! Well, almost done, we are also building a shoe and bag closet but at the moment it’s stuffed with our clothes since we don’t have closets for our dressing yet. More about that soon ;-). We just put my Desenio posters on the wall this week and it is the finishing touch to our bedroom. Our walls are completely white, so I wanted some decorations, but not too colorful. That’s why I picked out these black and white posters and added one with flowers for a subtile touch of colour. I also love that they feature both my favorite cities (girl in window and fashion cities destination poster) as some elements of nature (wave and there’s beauty poster).
I also have great news, since I have a discount code that I can share with you! The code ’25nathalievandenberg’ gives 25% off posters between Tuesday 29th and Thursday 31st of May. The code is not valid for frames and handpicked-/collaboration posters. So if you have an empty space in your home that needs some decoration, you can check out some stunning prints on Desenio. What I found very useful, was the ‘create your gallery wall’ as you can visualize what your wall is going to look like, and when you receive the posters you already know how and where you need to put them up!
For our bed, we really struggled to find a nice bedframe. We didn’t want a boxspring, which I think is very bombastic. We stumbled upon Karup Design, a Danish brand that makes minimal, Japanese inspired furniture. When we saw their pace bed, we we’re convinced that this was what we were looking for!
And to give our bedroom a more cosy feel, we’ve added a stunning rug from Louis De Poortere. A Belgian based brand, one to be proud of as they offer the best quality and very creative designs. For our bedroom we went for a quite basic print, but the washed off details give this rug more character.
I hope you enjoyed having a peek in my home, I sure loved decorating this room!
