When we bought our apartment, my dressing room was the last priority. Now that everything else has fallen into place, it was time to organise the room that’s actually most important to me, my dressing room. For this I teamed up with Maatkasten Online. A Belgian brand, that offers tailor made closets. You can design your own closet on their website and just a few days later, it will arrive at your doorstep. Pretty easy right? All you have to do is make sure you have the right measurements. If you are not sure about the colour, you can ask up to three colour samples on their website. I decided to go for white, as my entire interior is quite clean.
I mixed an open part with a closed part. In the open part I have all the clothes that need to be on hangers and in the closed part I’ve put all the clothes I prefer to have folded. I think folded clothes can look cluttered easily, that’s why I prefer to have doors and it also keeps away dust from the shelves.
To top it of, I added a rug from Louis De Poortere, which is also a Belgian brand. I already have their rugs in my bedroom and living room and I love how they makes my apartment more cosy. The designs of the rugs are always so beautiful, it also adds a luxury feeling to a room.
